About WallEdge Installation

WallEdge Installation is a wallpaper installation company based in Boynton Beach, serving homeowners, condo owners and small businesses across southern Palm Beach County. We focus on one trade: getting wallcoverings onto walls and ceilings so they look right and stay down in a humid coastal climate. That covers hanging new paper, stripping old layers, repairing the surface underneath and advising on which product suits a given room.

Why we put so much weight on the wall underneath

Most wallpaper problems we are asked to fix trace back to the surface, not the paper. Seams that open in August, bubbles that never flatten, stains bleeding through a light pattern: these usually come from unprimed drywall, trapped moisture in a block wall, or texture that was never smoothed. So our visits start with a close look at the wall, and we would rather spend an extra morning on repair and primer than hang over a problem.

That approach also protects the next person who wants to change the room. Paper hung over the correct primer can be removed later without tearing the drywall apart.

How a typical project goes

We keep the process simple and predictable so you know what is happening in your home.

  • We look at the space, measure, and talk through the paper you have chosen or are considering.
  • You get a written scope describing prep, materials and what is included.
  • On install day we protect floors and furniture, prep, prime and hang.
  • We clean up, reinstall plates and fixtures and walk the room with you before leaving.

Working in South Florida homes

Houses here have their own habits. Concrete-block construction, older ranch homes with popcorn ceilings, high-rise condos with association rules, and air conditioning that runs most of the year all affect how wallpaper should be installed. We plan around humid summers, the June to November hurricane season, and the salt air that reaches homes near the beach, and we explain those choices to you as we go.

What to expect

How a visit goes

  1. Prep before paper

Holes, texture, old adhesive and stains are dealt with first, then the wall gets a primer suited to the product.

  2. Layout you can see

We show you where the pattern will be centered and where partial strips will fall before anything is pasted.

  3. Straight answers

If a wall has a moisture problem or a paper is wrong for the room, we tell you plainly and suggest another route.

Planning a wallpaper project?

Tell us about the room, the paper you have in mind and the condition of the walls. We will set up a visit to measure and walk you through the scope.
